Starburst Chain Bracelet

Hey guys!
I'm back, with Starburst Chain Bracelets! They actually don't necessarily have to be bracelets, they can be anklets or necklaces too.

Anyway, you'll need about 30-36 Starburst wrappers. Take one of any color, and fold it into half, hot-dog style. Unfold, and fold both sides in to meet the crease. Then, fold it into half again the same way (hot-dog). Next, fold it AGAIN the same way (I promise this is the last time!). Fold it into half hamburger style, then unfold just the last fold, and fold both sides in to meet the crease.

Fold another wrapper the same way.

In the picture, 1&2 will be inserted into slots A and B, to look like a chain. Keep on going until you have a reasonably long chain, and I'll show you how to end it.

Use your last wrapper as you did for all the others, but undo the v-shape for the last one, and insert it into the first one. After that, your Starburst Chain Bracelet is complete!

Toodles!

P.S. I'll have a tutorial for this cute Starburst big wrapper pouch up soon!

Unicorn Poopies

Okay, so half of you are going to write me off as crazy, but I made some unicorn poop cookies! And for all of you that say unicorns aren't real, They. Are. Real. But that doesn't matter (right now, at least) so have a look:
[end picture]

So, the ingredients you'll need are unsalted butter (learned my lesson with THAT), all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, milk (I used 2%/reduced fat), salt, baking powder, an egg (beaten), some food coloring for decoration (Wilton's or McCormick's is fine), and powdered sugar for rolling out your dough.

The tools you'll need are a large bowl, a slightly smaller bowl, a spatula, plastic wrap, wax paper, and an electric mixer (handheld or stand)

For the recipe, the first thing you want to do is put 3 cups of your flour into the slightly smaller bowl. Next, add 3/4 tablespoon baking powder, and then 1/4 tablespoon salt.

Put that bowl aside. In the larger bowl, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup butter, and beat with an electric mixer until the color has lightened. Then, add your beaten egg and 1 tablespoon of milk, beating until the sugar has dissolved and smooth.

Add your flour mixture, gradually beating it in. If you use a 1/3 cup scoop like I did, the portions are perfect and will divide evenly into 10 portions. If you want to make plain sugar cookies, divide the dough into two, roll it out, wrap it in wax paper, refrigerate for two hours, and bake at 375 degrees F for 7-9 min or when cookies start to turn brown around the edges.

If you want to make unicorn poop cookies, separate the dough into six little cookie dough blobs. Take your food coloring and add one of the colors of the rainbow(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo[optional], violet) to a blob. Do the same with the other five until you have all colors. I used the droppers, so I had to combine red and yellow, blue and red, etc. divide each colored blob into the number of cookies you want, rolling each portion into a long, skinny string. I only wanted one cookie to show you guys, so I rolled 1 string and baked the rest into normal sugar cookies. After you have six skinny dough strings, put them into the fridge for two hours. After two hours, take them out and roll(not flat!) together and until the colors are together but not blended. When you have those, sort of put them into a spirallish poop shape. Pop them into the oven and bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 min or until they are barely brown around the edges. Take them out, decorate with golden or silver edibles, and serve!
